Corvette For Sale

If you had a 2005 black hardtop coupe Corvette, what would you do with it? Perhaps you would let celebrities such as Gretchen Wilson and Kid Rock drive it, or perhaps you would – sell it at an auction? Well, if you were Big & Rich’s John Rich, you might consider the auction option.

John Rich has recently auctioned off his much sought after Corvette in order to donated the proceeds to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. The car was featured in Corvette Quarterly and should fetch a large amount of money, which the children’s hospital could really use. If you think that this stylish car is right up your alley, the minimum bid is $50,000, so get out your checkbook! The auction ends August 8th and can be found on eBay.

John Rich has always been a bit of an outsider – someone to try something just a little bit different once in awhile. After his original band “Lonestar” failed to gather a large following, John attempted to go solo, but his record company decided not to release his album. Having faith in himself, not in the record company, Rich formed the MuzikMafia that included other greats such as Kenny Alpin, Gretchen Wilson, James Otto, and Jon Nicholson. This team of country outlaws played exclusively in the small Nashville bar called the Pub of Love. During this time, Rich also helped Wilson and other country legends write their songs. The singers and songwriters were an instant hit, and the rest – as they say – is country music history.
